Terms & Conditions
Please read these booking and service terms carefully before using our services.
- These terms and conditions and the web-based booking form on elitechauffeursmanchester.com constitute the entire agreement concerning the provision of taxi service ("Service") between you and Elite Chauffeur. Completion of the booking and use of the Service indicates your unconditional acceptance of these terms.
- Elite Chauffeur may change these terms and conditions at any time. Existing bookings remain at the rate when the booking is made.
- A minimum of 3 hours notice is required for online bookings. If your booking is less than 3 hours away, call our office to check availability.
- You must allow sufficient time for airline check-in requirements and possible traffic delays. We are not responsible for delays caused by insufficient customer planning or if passengers are not ready at the booked collection time.
- You must book a suitable vehicle size for your passenger and luggage requirements. We cannot guarantee carriage of excessive luggage.
- You must provide all information requested on the booking form. Use the special notes box to provide important additional details.
- If there are changes or variations to the journey, including extra mileage, extra waiting time, or route deviations not agreed at booking time, extra charges will apply according to our pricing structure.
- Without meet and greet service, incoming flights include 30 minutes of free waiting time. Waiting charges apply after that period. Please allow sufficient time for immigration and baggage collection.
- With meet and greet service, for airport pickups the driver will wait up to 60 minutes without passenger contact. If no contact is made after 60 minutes, this is treated as a no-show and no refund will be offered.
- To cancel a booking, contact Elite Chauffeur as soon as possible. We can cancel and refund when at least 24 hours notice is provided. If cancellation happens after dispatch, a charge will be incurred based on the distance and time already traveled by the allocated driver.
- We take complaints seriously and investigate all complaints thoroughly. Please call or email us with your reference number and full details.
- At times, we may use subcontractors or partner companies to cover a journey.
- You are responsible for the behaviour of all passengers in the vehicle during the journey. Cleaning charges apply if the vehicle is soiled by any passenger.
- A full receipt can be emailed to you, or a handwritten business-card-size receipt can be supplied by your driver. An emailed receipt requested from the driver on the day of travel may take up to two working days.
- We reserve the right to refuse carriage of any passenger believed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- We reserve the right to refuse or terminate any booking immediately if behaviour puts the driver or vehicle at risk of damage, violence, or abuse. Passengers will be asked to leave the vehicle as soon as it is safe. No refund will be given.
- We track incoming flights to align collection times.
- While we make every reasonable effort to ensure punctual service, we are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.
- Elite Chauffeur will use reasonable endeavours to get you to your destination on time but is not liable for losses caused by road or traffic delays outside its control.
- A child of any age counts as one passenger. If a child seat is required, inform the office at booking time. We will try to provide a baby or booster seat. If you bring your own child seat, installation is your responsibility.
- If the driver is delayed due to traffic or other reasons and cannot reach your pickup point in time, we will try to provide a replacement vehicle through a partner.
- If the driver does not arrive at the scheduled collection time, contact our office. If you leave the pickup point without informing us, we are not liable for compensation. If you use another provider without our consent, we are not liable to reimburse or refund that fare.
- We reserve the right to change your minicab, taxi, chauffeur vehicle, or driver without notice if necessary.
- All vehicles operate under a strict non-smoking policy. Eating, drinking, and smoking are not permitted in our vehicles.
- All vehicles are fully insured for passenger and third-party claims. Customer property is carried at the owner's risk.
- Clients are responsible for ensuring luggage is loaded and unloaded at all times. Elite Chauffeur and its subcontractors are not liable for loss or damage to such property.
- If a vehicle breaks down during a journey, we will endeavour to provide an alternative vehicle as soon as possible.
- Elite Chauffeur may cancel services and provide refunds in events such as national emergency, riot, war, fuel shortage, extreme weather, terrorist attack, or other circumstances beyond our control.
- It is illegal to make a private booking directly with our drivers. We are not liable for any issues arising from travel not confirmed through our office.
- Some calls may be recorded for quality and training purposes.
